BRIEF ROUTE DESCRIPTION
If you are coming from Bangalore/Mysore side, take Nanjangud Gundulpet road, after crossing Gundulpet Town you will see a junction, turn right there which takes you to Wayanad. After crossing the forest area and Muthanga, the first town is Sulthan Bathery, drive ahead till you cross Kalpetta town and keep driving on the highway till you pass the next town Meenangadi , continue driving on NH for 4.5 Kms till Kakavayal junction take left there from here road map as shown below.
Note - If coming from Bangalore / Mysore side, please be advised that Bandipur forest checkpost remains closed from 9PM to 6AM. Please plan your road trip accordingly.
BY TRAIN
From Chennai or Bangalore to Calicut Railway station.
It is an 88 km drive from Calicut to Mezzma which takes about 2.5 hours. There are daily trains from Chennai and Bangalore to Calicut station.
BY BUS
Get off at Meenangadi that is between Sultan Batthery & Kalpetta on NH and take a rick to Mezzma.

Calicut International Airport It is an 100 km drive from Calicut to Mezzma which takes about 3 hours. Nearest Airport is Calicut and well connected with Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi ( Connection flight ) and all international destinations.
